- I also keep notes on the setup where possible, which makes it easier to recreate the same look when new staff join later.

Do you come to our Auckland office?
Yes — on-site headshots are the most common option for Auckland businesses. I enjoy getting out and about and visiting the different industries and it makes sense for me to travel instead of all of the staff. Plus if the weather is not so good on the day no rain spots on clothing, or frazzled hair for the staff being photographed.
How much space do you need?
For the studio style setup around 4x5m of clear space is needed. Often a boardroom/meeting room works well. If your office doesn’t have this type of space I can also use a plain wall which requires much less space. Environmental style headshots work within your office space or use areas outside of or around the office location.
Can you match new staff later?
Yes absolutely, I often take notes on the setup I have used for an office specifically for this reason. If you already have existing staff headshots that were captured by another photographer I can replicate the style by analysing the existing images to work out the lighting and camera setup needed to match the style.
How quickly are images delivered?
Turnaround is typically fast, with selection images sent through the same day as the headshots are captured. Once retouching selections are made I normally get these completed the same or next day. If there are a large amount of images/staff it may take slightly longer but I will work in with any deadlines you have.
Can we match headshots across multiple office locations?
Yes — lighting, framing, and background can be standardised for consistency across locations. If it doesn’t make financial or logical sense for me to travel to your companies out of Auckland offices I can work in with local photographers sharing the shooting style and equipment used so that the headshots for all offices will be consistent. I can then complete the retouching for all images so the end result is consistent for all staff, across all offices.
Can staff choose their own favourite image?
Yes absolutely, I send through the selection images after the shoot and either one person in the office can choose for everyone, or each person can choose their image for retouching.
