Some studio headshot examples captured for a client I visit around 5-7 times per year in Auckland CBDs Shortland Street.
The client is a large law firm based in the central business district. Due to their large staff numbers they book me a few times a year to come into their offices and capture studio headshots of their team. This is for new staff, any staff who need an update to their headshot due to role changes, or if its been a while since their last headshot was taken.
Their headshot style is a classic studio style headshot with a white background. They use the finished headshots as they are, and also with the background removed to allow other marketing assets to show through behind the subject.
I setup in one of their meeting rooms which has space for my equipment and a makeup artist to setup in. Both the female and male staff members have some makeup before they step in front of the camera. The makeup isn’t too strong but helps to reduce skin shine, and gives everyone a bit of a lift both in appearance, and confidence before their studio headshot is captured.
I capture a good selection of poses and expressions of each person. From these the client chooses their preferred image for each person. I then retouch those selected images and deliver finished headshot to them ready to use.
