Staff portrait photography
I am a portrait photographer in Auckland, New Zealand. I specialise in corporate portraits for businesses and professional individuals. Especially those who want to put the very best image of themselves forward in their marketing.Styles of portrait I offer as a portrait photographer
To overly simplify things there are two styles of corporate portrait I offer as a portrait photographer.
Environmental style corporate portraits
The first is an environmental portrait which puts the subject (person) in the context of their workplace or profession. The style has a very soft out of focus background which creates an almost 3d like feel. I set this style up in a work place, or location which connects with the person being photographed and use a mix of available natural light, and light which I introduce to the image. Overall its a quite natural feeling portrait which has an almost candid feel and is a style I really like to shoot.
Studio style corporate portraits
The second style is a studio portrait with a plain background. There portraits are very clean and really put the emphasis on the person who is having their portrait taken. They are also great if you need to insert your portrait over the top of a background in future marketing. The background can easily be removed which is known by web and graphic designers as being clear cut, or deep etching the background.
Whichever style of portrait you require it can be completed at your location with portable studio lighting and backgrounds. I can set these up in any medium sized room.

Retouching of selected portraits
Once the shoot itself has been completed retouching comes into play. I create retouched images which are very flattering but still realistic. A host of retouching tricks to help your portrait shine without looking overly retouched or fake.
Again and again my clients are blown away by how good their portraits look. This feedback is something which never gets old in receiving as a portrait photographer.
Portable lighting and background system
Most of my corporate portraits are completed in my clients offices, work places, or homes. This gives people a helping hand in feeling comfortable in front of the camera. It also means there is less downtime away from your or your staffs work. I use a portable photographic background and lighting system. This means I can complete portraits of any style at the location of your choice and convenience. If you would prefer to come to me thats fine too.

"Honestly it wasn't easy to pick an image for retouching as you did such a fabulous job! I have chosen the three below but honestly there were about 5 different ones that I had trouble picking from, I might need you to save them so I can change down the road for a different marketing piece."
Heidi - Real Estate agent
"Hi Adam, thanks for your help, and a great job!!I have just put the payment through. Look forward to working with you in the future"
Pat - Business owner
