I’ve been photographing food professionally for Auckland businesses for years and genuinely enjoy the attention to detail involved.
Lighting is particularly important to me. I use it to create dimension, reveal texture and make the colours and textures in the food come to life and grab peoples attention.
I also understand that commercial shoots need to be efficient. Particularly when we’re photographing a full menu or multiple products, we’ll plan the shoot so that we can work methodically while maintaining a consistent look across the finished images if needed.
You can be involved as much as you like throughout the shoot, and I’m always happy to collaborate with your chef, marketing team, agency or food stylist.
I can bring a portable lighting setup to your restaurant, kitchen or business premises, so food can be photographed close to where it is prepared
